Quite a few obsession worthy entities have come from across the pond – David Beckham, One Direction, fish & chips, Jo Malone perfumes and Harry Potter – to name a few. But the latest British born product we believe should be added to that list comes from probiotic skin care line, Aurelia. The brand’s aptly named ‘Miracle Cleanser’ has been racking up awards both in the UK and here at home; winning over hearts and marching its way towards cult status.
The ultra feminine, soft pink and black packaging is reminiscent of Baby’s Breath flowers and girlish ‘knickers,’ as the Brits say, but the sophisticated aromatic punch of eucalyptus, chamomile, rosemary and bergamot feels elevated and mature. The cleanser is made with bioorganic ingredients; free of harsh chemicals, such as silicones, petrochemicals and parabens; and incorporates the line’s signature Probiotic, Repair and Peptide formulation, which helps reduce inflammation, boost natural levels of collagen and stimulate the body’s natural production of hyaluronic acid.
While the product itself is for sure a rising star, what really makes it unique is the antibacterial bamboo muslin cloth it comes with. After massaging the product into skin to dislodge makeup, debris and excess sebum, the muslin cloth wipes away the cream cleanser offering gentle daily exfoliation. (For those with over-exfoliated or sensitive skin, we recommend using the muslin cloth once a week). We tested out the fluffy cream cleanser and saw a brighter and smoother complexion by day two; needless to say we’ve been purring it’s praises ever since.
